What's worse, Bush has massacred over 900 US soldiers and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians-- all based on a pack of lies! posted by: jimdoney (reply) post date: 08.05.04 (6:51 pm) Funny I thought it was the terrorists in Afgahnistan, insurgents in Iraq, and leftist terrorist sympathisers like yourself that caused the deaths of our fine young fighting men and women. IHow silly of me to not realize Bush/Hitler massacred them all. As to your point of it being all for a lie you may want to try and check your facts. Even the heavily contested "16 words" from the State of the Union Address about the yellow cake uranium from Niger is starting to be reinforced and proven more and more. Not to mention the fact that the one point that the left (and you in your comment) hold up as a lie (I am trying to call your bluff you could say he is lying about damn near anything I suppose) was only 1 of 5 different points as to a reason for war. Stopping the spread of terror was another, did he lie about that as well? And if Bush/Hitler lied than whom else was lying while casting their votes in the House and Senate authorizations for the use of force? Every individual in those houses of congress was privy to the same info and intelligence that the POTUS and his cabinet were. Why is it lying for one and not the t'other? Please rid your mind of the hatred and post again when your are more apt to see the reality of the situations at hand. posted by: Alex D. However, Kerry's message appears to focus on progress, something that I think has been lacking lately. posted by: jimdoney (reply) post date: 08.06.04 (7:12 pm) Reply to: Alex I do believe the word you were searching for there is "regress" not "progress". The man has no idea other than Bush is bad. And, even when he says that Bush is bad he can't show any vision for a way to do it better. It is simply hogwash to think a man who has slacked off as a Senator is finally going to have the inspiration of office bring him to take the initiative to make really change and progress. This is especially true when look at the past travesties of plans he points to as successes. I guess though it all boils down to whether you view the government as an aid in your life, or a burden. I find it a burden and wish therefore to limit its hand in my everyday life. John Kerry seeks to make sure it runs my life and I have the pleasure of paying for it. Cheers! jim |
